Handling and containing solid waste or recyclables is often a challenge facing our clients. Different types of materials have different requirements to be handled and stored safely and efficiently. Typically hook-lift or skip-loader vehicles are used to lift, transport and tip the containers.

To meet our clients’ unique needs and offer cost-efficient waste handling solutions we have a wide range of specially designed containers at Akura. Our complete range contains a variety of shapes and sizes including light and heavy-duty units and forklift handling solutions. For installations where containers need to be repositioned with ease, we also supply Transfer Frame Systems.

Akura’s AKUPAK range of containers has been designed and purpose built to provide ideal solid waste handling and containment solutions for light or heavy duty applications.

The range includes open and closed top hooklift units, standard skips, rocker bins specially designed to be forklift friendly and more.

To ensure that containers can easily be repositioned we also have specially designed Transfer Frame Systems and Magazines, often consisting of bogies and rails.
