REFURBISHMENT SERVICES

It is often possible to refurbish solid waste management and beneficiation equipment once the basic lifetime of has been exhausted. Provided that certain main structural and hydraulic components are recoverable, the running lifetime can be extended significantly.

When we do a refurbishment at Akura we will inspect the frame integrity and compile a hydraulic report. Should the assessment indicate it is feasible to refurbish the equipment Akura’s main Manufacturing Works will restore it with the assistance of our in-house engineering team.

A standard refurbishment includes upgrades to the latest safety standards, retrofitting the latest improved parts and repainting the equipment. If applicable the PLC software will also be updated to the latest standards.
