WASTE TO ENERGY

Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) is gleaned from the combustible components of Municipal Solid Waste, industrial waste, commercial waste and MRF tailings. Non-combustible and recyclable materials are removed from the waste stream, after which the residual material is shredded and used as fuel at incineration facilities to produce heat and/or energy. Solid recovered fuel (SRF) has gone through additional processing to improve its quality, particle size consistency and calorific value.
